I was born with a passion for music and dance, as a toddler I would jump with joy to my parents vinyl collection of Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Buddy Holly and others. I loved musical theatre and performance as a child, and sang in choirs throughout my childhood. I used this experience to create the Laleh Ladies community choir much later as an adult.

I started my journey to become a musician and singer when I fell in love with the sound of the Spanish guitar one day, as I stood at a balcony in the heavenly beautiful Alhambra palace, overlooking Granada, Spain. My heart was full of joy at the moment I was hit by an enchanting spiral of plucked string notes mysteriously wafting up from a plaza I could not see way below. I knew I had to buy a guitar and connect to the gift of beauty and song that I had received that day. 

The songs I write is inspired by the transformation of dark to light, pain to love, empowerment with truth, the beauty of nature, magic and the divine. 

 I am currently exploring the intuitive dimensions of the voice, including light language songs and singing, which I use in some of my readings.
